Testimonials

August 2002

We've used Greg Barron and Seahome for a number of projects. We remodeled a garage into a family room, reconfigured walls in the bedroom area, painted the exterior and interior walls of our house, plus numerous "fix-up" jobs around the house. The garage remodel in particular required a lot of unusual and rather "fussy" work such as building up and insulating a sloping concrete floor and cutting a door through an existing concrete wall.

The work done by Seahome was of high quality. We are thrilled with the end results.

One of the best things about working with Greg is his ability to communicate with us throughout the project. Even though we live a couple counties apart, and the work being done is in yet another county, Greg has always been very quick and thorough in his responses to our questions, concerns and requests. Plus he is just plain nice.

It has been a pleasure to work with Greg and we plan to continue to use him for any additional projects we may have. We highly recommend him!

I found Greg Barron to be knowledgeable, attentive to detail, highly professional and very respectful of design goals the client and I were trying to achieve. When questions about design intent came up Greg asked questions rather than acting on assumptions. This carried through to his job foreman, Bill and his crews. He was always cheerful in his dealings with me and my client and very patient in explaining procedures and pricing to the homeowner. Greg was prompt in dealing with the inevitable glitches and problems that arise during any construction project. His willingness to be part of a team effort - listen and offer suggestions, not ultimatums, were invaluable in making this project a success.

I think one of Greg's distinguishing positive characteristics is his "can do" attitude. He doesn't shy away from unusual or unconventional projects. In the case of my own remodel house/raising, Greg coordinated all the elements of the actual lifting extremely well.

My impression of Greg is that he approaches his work with integrity and enthusiasm. This seems to influence his staff too as I always felt they were ready and willing to get the job done whatever it took. Seahome Services would be a logical choice for Peninsula clients who want a quality construction product delivered on time and within budget.

"Greg Barron, owner of Seahome Services, managed major construction upgrades to our home in Brinnon last summer. We feel fortunate a good general contractor like Greg is available in our area.

Working with Greg is a pleasant experience. He is thorough, knowledgeable, and honest. He makes a special effort to get the project finished by the completion date and is quick to respond to phone calls, e-mails and requests. We think his pricing is reasonable and the work quite satisfactory.

Thanks to Greg, our home is much improved and we would be happy to recommend him to others looking for a general contractor.

Sincerely,

"It's our pleasure to announce that the Burns' dream house has become a reality! Our heartfelt thanks to Greg Barron at Sea Home Services who directed the construction process in such a way that with a large project and all that "could have gone wrong" there was only a minimal delay in getting our 3000 square foot cabin ready for our Thanksgiving weekend move in. What we found especially refreshing was that Greg Barron brought up items well in advance for us to research, select and make final decisions without us feeling any pressure of "hurry up and decide" which was a critical part of putting together our fabulous weekend retreat. The strongest recommendation we could give is that since we were so pleased with the attention to detail and the meticulous work of Greg Barron and his team, we have contracted Greg and Sea Home Services once again to build our boathouse/apartment structure this summer." Dear Greg,

I wanted to drop you note and thank you for a job well done on our remodel at Dabob Bay. You not only stayed on budget, but also maintained the move in schedule we all agreed to. Your workmanship and attention to detail was well within accepted standards, which resulted in a great end product. Simply put, you performed at or above our agreements. Good luck on your future work.

Best Personal Regards,
Lloyd & Sharon Powell

Dear Greg,

Jackie and I were really pleased with your work on the staircase. The best things about your work are that everything is completed as agreed and the quality is in everything you do. We wouldn't think of having another contractor with out giving you first shot.

Thanks again,
Al Pomeroy

Dear Greg,

Just a line to let you know how much we have been enjoying the new house that your company built for us at Ayock Beach. We are very pleased with the quality of workmanship and the way that the entire project was handled "with no hassles". We had complete trust that all the work would be done properly, even through we could seldom be there during the construction.

We highly recommend Seahome Services to anyone interested in a quality job.

Thanks again for the job well done,

To whom it may concern,

We are most happy to recommend Greg Barron of Seahome Services, Inc. as a general contractor. He recently completed building our two-story, 2,000 sq.ft. Western living home in Quilcene, Washington.

Greg's bid was lower than those of other contractors and his materials and workmanship were excellent. We are extremely pleased with the home. It has received lots of praise from neighbors, friends and sub-contractors.

From initial layout, through cement foundation and structural works, to final siding and roofing, the job was well done. Necessary changes in the plans were easily accommodated as Greg worked with the architect.

Greg met all contractual agreements and turned out an excellent home. The proof is in our pleasure with the finished product.

Sincerely yours,
Carol and Brian Barker

To whom it may concern,

We first meet Greg in October of 1995. He was recommended by both friends and local real estate agents. We signed a contract for building our home in December of 1995. Greg made some major improvements in our basic design. He obtained permits in a very expeditious fashion and was very helpful (and saved us money) on septic and road installation. He demonstrated excellent skills in a wide range of the construction process. Design, siting of the house foundation work, roofing and siding were all done by Greg.

Throughout the building he was very available and maintained a positive attitude. There were a few surprises, but we stayed close to our budget. The house was finished in August of 1996 which was quite an accomplishment for it had been one of the wettest winters on record.

We were very pleased with Greg's services during the construction and more than satisfied with the results.

Sincerely,
